David went skiing again today. He did really well! He's catching on. Afterwards, he was genuinely proud and satisfied. Yay! I love seeing my kids conquer new things.
Later this afternoon, when boredom had driven David and Mary to couch jumping, hand-standing, and assaulting each other with a light saber, we tried to convince them to go outside and go sledding. It was 30 degrees! Perfect for some outside afternoon fun. (Seriously, it is freaking me out how warm it felt to me today!)
But David responded with that classic know-it-all tone, "I already did my winter sport today."
(Little stinker.)
Sledding or no, I'm proud of his hard work at his "winter sport" today.
