True or false

On December 24th at approximately 11:34 am David made this comment, "Preschoolers don't know that Santa Claus is real. But kindergartners are smart and know the truth, that Santa is really real."

On December 24th at approximately 5:47 pm David posed this question,"True or false? Santa Claus is real."

Ack! Minor panic attack! I am somewhat ambivalent about Santa Claus: I think he's a fun and useful guy, but I also promised I would never flat out lie if asked point blank on the matter.

Fortunately, I was thinking fast.

"According to kindergartners, TRUE!"

"Yes! You're right, Mom!"
