Jingle bell dance

Wednesday was THE BIG GAME. Well, around here the Rose Bowl is THE BIG GAME this year. So Wednesday was THE OTHER BIG GAME: The teachers versus fifth graders basketball game!

And guess who provided the halftime show?? Kindergartners! David's class and their sister bilingual class, to be specific. They did a carefully choreographed jazzed up Jingle Bells number.

Oh, I know these pictures are terrible, but I have to post them so I can remember how incredibly wonderfully adorable it was.

Here they are, getting all ready...

By the way, that brave woman is the music teacher.

The dance involved lots of running in a circle. Yes, that's David falling down...

There was also a lot of dancing with a partner. You can see David and his sweet partner J...

The David and J duo again...

They pulled out a few pretty cool moves. David especially liked the Egyptian move. He'd been doing it all week at home. You can just barely see it here...

And it all ended with a big a jump!

I could not stop smiling the whole time!

David was very nonchalant about it--both before and after. But DURING he was totally into it! So enthusiastic! He wasn't a bit inhibited or "too cool." Very precious.

Oh, and by the way, the fifth graders won.
