P.S. When I said that this time around I have no fear ... well, I lied. Confession: I do have a fear. Can our home handle more PERSONALITY? I don't worry about having enough love or affection--one thing you learn pretty quickly as a parent is your heart's infinite capacity for love. So we have lots of room for love. But do we have room for another personality? David and Mary both have pretty high-maintenance personalities--and they are complete opposites. Between the two of them, I feel like we've covered every personality quirk and challenge (and joy!) on the spectrum. What else is there?! I guess we'll find out ...
