A story by Mary

Recently, Mary has loved writing stories at school.  Here is an example of one she wrote and illustrated this week.  I love it!

First she writes the story using the movable alphabet.  Then she writes the story on paper.  And, finally, she adds an illustration.  Her teacher told me the only word Mary needed help with was "cage."  Mary just barely started writing stories a couple of months ago.  She has improved so fast!  Yay, Mary!

Isn't it adorable?! (And kind of amazing, if I do say so myself.)
