Greg and I were married nine years ago on a beautiful spring morning in Oakland.
There were tulips on the temple grounds that day. Just as there are today tulips around my home (Greg made sure of that).
When we were engaged and Greg and I first made the practical arrangements for our wedding, I scheduled our marriage to take place at eleven in the morning. It seemed to me the perfect time.
But Greg asked me to reschedule for ten o'clock instead. I asked why. He said he couldn't stand to wait even one extra hour to be married to me.
We were married in 2002 on April 18th.
