I am not very good at taking pictures of ordinary life. I almost always remember my camera for anything even remotely "special." But as the years pass, I think the images I cherish most are the ordinary ones--the little glimpses of what my kids do in our home. Stuff so ordinary I don't often think to take a picture of it. Like what they play with and how they play with it. This summer I'm going to to try to take a few pictures now and then of nothing special. (Because somehow the ordinary becomes extraordinary.) Here is the first one.
