This picture was taken at the very end of September, over a month ago. Sara wasn't quite nine months old, and Mary wasn't quite six years old. And David still had his cast.

P.S. Yes, the girls were still sporting their Easter dresses, thanks to a very warm September. This is when they debuted them (and this is the picture I really love). Mary wasn't even five and a half, and Sara wasn't even three months old, and David was only seven. Time is slipping away.
