I'm in Texas! And I got to travel here with these cuties--
First on the agenda was lots of hugs for Uncle Daniel--who is back from a two-year mission in Vina del Mar, Chile. Hooray!! We're so happy for him--for all of the faith and hard work. He still gives super good hugs. (And now he speaks English with the cadence of a native Spanish speaker.)Also near the top of the agenda was a trip to the Rainforest Cafe. David has been dreaming about this for months. Grandma Evie was happy to oblige (even though it's, um...well, us adults will keep our opinions to ourselves)--and David and Mary were enthralled.
We also took a trip to the zoo--pictures forthcoming--and we've been celebrating with Tio and Tia, who are up from San Antonio. Most of all, us grown-ups have been barraging Daniel with an assault of way too much advice on what job he should take, where he should go to school, and what kind of car he should drive. Coming home from a mission is not easy. (Understatement.)
What a treat to be here for fun, family, and plenty of sunshine.
